Shane Holland Design Workshops are designers and makers of lighting, furniture, awards and sculptural works since 1991. Their workshop and studio is based in Duleek, County Meath in the historic Boyne Valley region. From here the design team have produced private bespoke work which has been sent to and installed in locations worldwide.
The products are inspired by nature as are the materials themselves and the ultimate aim is to create timeless pieces that are aesthetically pleasing and functional. With twenty six years experience in metalworking, composites, woods and plastics and having built up an international reputation, Holland’s unique collections of lighting and furniture have been exhibited in London, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt and Beijing.
Shane and his team work closely with private and commercial clients and have earned a reputation for working collaboratively with other designers. An example of such a partnership is the ceramic pendants that were recently installed at new Michelin star restaurant called Eneko at One Aldwych in London, which they worked on with Thomas Diem of @Diem Pottery.More recently they just completed beopoke lights for the new @Titanic Hotel in Belfast where the original Harland and Wolff Drawing offices were restored completely with our lights central to the scheme.We have recently just been commissioned to make the plaques or escutcheons in the form of golden harp for the Irish embassies.
